Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Catering Sales Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue by selling our catering services, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of events. The ideal candidate will start with an expectation of generating $10K-$20K in weekly sales, quickly progressing to a baseline of $20K per week.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $60,000
- Commission: 5% on all directly managed orders

Key Responsibilities
Sales Generation (80%)
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies:
- Implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed weekly and annual revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts.
- Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, catering partners,
and other potential customers through follow-up calls, emails, and
personalized client interactions. - Conduct client meetings, consultations, and presentations to understand their
catering needs and propose tailored solutions.

- Sales Operations:
- Respond promptly to inquiries, provide accurate quotes, and negotiate contracts to secure catering orders.
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase our catering services and offerings.
- Conduct site visits and tastings for potential clients to demonstrate our capabilities and build trust.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order management and client follow-up.
- Sales Tracking and Reporting:
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to maintain and update customer databases.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely sales reports, tracking progress towards sales goals and analyzing sales trends.
Managerial Tasks (20%)
- Team Collaboration and Support:
- Manage and support sales and support teams, including offshore resources handling escalations.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), develop Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and analyze team performance to ensure high-quality customer experiences.
- Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.
- Administrative Duties:
- Help manage promotional campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Support the coordination of large-scale events and special projects as needed.
Requirements and Skills
- Experience:
- Proven experience in catering sales or a related sales role, preferably within the hospitality or food service industry.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and generating revenue.
- Skills:
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a consultative selling approach.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Google Suite.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
